Halifax Past Rabbit Captains

Roger had been involved with golf for many years and needless to say he put more into it than he took out. Whilst he was at Halifax Ogden he became President of the Halifax, Huddersfield District Rabbit Golf Association (1978).He later joined Ryburn Golf Club where he again got involved in helping to organise things. He soon became Captain and then President and even up to his death he still actively got involved with projects. He was a champion of good causes and he would work tirelessly to raise money for charity. He donated this trophy to the Halifax Past Rabbits Golf Association to be played for annually. With this legacy he will remain in the memory of all Past Rabbit Captains as long as the Association exists.

28 players took part in the competition this year which was held at Ryburn Golf Club. The weather was mostly torrential rain but the players battled through producing some very good results.

All enjoyed the meal afterwards.
