Home ! 2012 Competitions ! Friendly Match Survey
Working Party Established
At our AGM on the 23rd November concerns were raised that some of our member Clubs had not supported a number of our competitions in 2011. Secondly some Clubs had had difficulty in raising league teams. Thirdly some Clubs were finding it increasingly difficult to fulfil Friendly matches.
We were asked and we agreed to form a small Working Party to look at these issues. I have asked John Turner, who was President of the Association in 2008, to chair that Working Party and he has been joined on that sub-group by fellow HHDRGA Committee Members David Stubbings (Secretary), Barry Goldspink (Treasurer), Alvan Linley (President 2011), David Harrison (Vice-President), Malcolm Elam (President 1998) and David Greenwood.
So that the Working Party can focus on the real issues two questionnaires have been emailed to all 22 Rabbit sections in the Association using the contact information that we hold. However both documents are reproduced here and can be downloaded should any Club have been missed. The first document is about our competitions schedule for 2012. The second document relates to Friendly matches.
It has been requested that the two questionnaires be returned directly to John Turner by the 12th January 2012 please preferably by email to johnturner1950@talktalk.net although hard copies can be sent to him at 38 Long Fallas Crescent, Brighouse, HD6 3TN if preferred. John can also by contacted on 07831 475923.
All the responses will then be analysed by the Working Party and the findings will be shared and discussed at an open forum following our HHDRGA League meeting which is scheduled for Wednesday 29th February 2012 at Bradley Hall Golf Club at 19.30.
In 2013 Rabbit golf will have been enjoyed by Clubs in our Association for up to 60 years and we want your help to ensure future generations of golfers continue to have that opportunity by assisting us to provide competitions and friendlies that remain relevent and appropriate in this changing world.
Many thanks.
Doug Priestley
President HHDRGA
